Starring: Chow Yun Fat, Tony Leung. Directed by: John Woo. Hard Boiled is definetly one of John Woo's best movies. It definetly holds all of his trademarks. From the slow-motion action sequences, to the scene where the two main character have their guns aimed at each others faces. This movie has a lot of action sequences. The first action sequence begins just a few moments after the credits in a tea house, where Tequila(Chow Yun Fat) and his partner/friend are undercover. They eventually get into a gunfight, in which, Tequila's partner is killed. Ok, this is leading into becoming the movie's script, so i'll just tell you about the quality of the movie. Like I said before, this is definetly a greeaaat action movie and is definetly worth a look if you haven't seen it yet. BACK TO REVIEWS |
